Foreword
Corresponding Author:
Dear Colleagues,
I am honored to present a special issue of Donald School Journal of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. For over 40 years, the Ian Donald School promotes the art of ultrasonography in obstetrics and gynecology. Moreover, the school provides theoretical courses and training for medical professionals worldwide. Every year, thousands of physicians and sonography enthusiasts participate in the events held by the Ian Donald School. One of these significant events was the 2nd European Congress of Ian Donald School in Gdansk (Poland). I was humbled to lead such a scientific event that gathered prominent experts from all over the world.
This issue is a result of international cooperation of ultrasonography experts who gave remarkable lectures during the 2nd European Congress of Ian Donald School and remains a summary of the latest trends and research in perinatal medicine.
I would like to express my gratitude to the speakers, participants, and directors of the Ian Donald School. With my best personal regards to professor Asim Kurjak and professor Frank Chervenak for their continuous support and outstanding contribution to our education.
